The statistics of phosphorylated sites in the catagorized kinase families

All the 518 kinase genes, which were identified by Manning et al., are categorized by their annotated family or subfamily, including totally 221 kinase families. Because the collection of experimentally verified phosphorylated sites from PhosphoELM and SwissProt involved in various species, the number of phosphorylated sites in each kinase family is calculated in human and other species, as well as the number of phosphorylated proteins. Moreover, the sequence logo of each kinase family is presented by using Weblogo.
